Sustainability

Our pledge to a better tomorrow:
Knoware embodies sustainability in every action and decision we make

Global warming and climate change cannot be ignored anymore. Renewable energy and ressources conservation are important to us.

Our goals are to do our best through company initiatives to promote sustainable practices and reduce our carbon footprint, as well as to build a sustainable business for our employees, customers and communities.

We are willing to drive toward a net-zero carbon future where the people that support our entire value chain are treated with dignity and respect.

We don’t have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.

100% CO2 Neutral Fleet

We want to make a positive impact on the environment. For this reason all our new cars are fully electric! Our target is to gradually achieve a 100% full electric fleet.

All our Internal Combustion Engine vehicles are running on gasoline E10 (90% fossil / 10% renewable) and are 100% carbon compensated. When refueling we pay a small surcharge based on our fuel consumption. With that surcharge we invest in certified climate change projects. We also have Battery Electric Vehicles. They are 100% carbon compensated at purchase and employees use home charging stations.

But we do not stop here as we support the use of other kind of environmental-friendly alternatives like bicycles and trains.

This is part of our contribution to support the environment and help reduce the CO2 emission.

Recycling

If we want a more nature friendly way of living, we need to use less and use it many times. Creating closed loops by recycling all that we can. This way we can fight climate change. Recycling office waste will stop toxins entering our environment and, reduce the amount of land dedicated to landfill and move us toward a system where all waste is recycled.

We as a company:

  • recycle all our products;
  • purchase recycled products;
  • refill our ink cartridges;
  • collect and recycle batteries.

    From SDLC to AI-DLC

    On 24 April 2026, we held an internal Knoware seminar for our software engineers on a topic that is quickly becoming part of day-to-day software delivery: the use of AI coding agents on real projects. The goal was not to present AI as a magic wand, nor to suggest that software can now be “vibe coded” into production. The goal was more practical: share concrete lessons from the field, based on real cases where AI agents were used to accelerate analysis, documentation, development, testing and migration work.

    A great day with the Knoware team at Les Sorbiers

    A quick look back at our team seminar at Les Sorbiers. The morning was about AI at Knoware — what's working in our day-to-day and in our development lifecycle, and what isn't. The afternoon was for fun: kayaks, a nature walk, pétanque and drinks. The overnight crew closed it with dinner.
