We took a well-deserved break from the office for a sunny and energizing team event in Ostend.

We started the day at Zelda & Zorro Beach, where we enjoyed breakfast with a view — and kicked off with a 'State of the Union' to reflect on how far we’ve come and where we’re headed.

After that, EHBO Vlaanderen guided us through an engaging first aid session. More than just a quick demo, it was a powerful, hands-on experience that left us better prepared — as colleagues, as teammates, and simply as people. Knowing how to act in those first crucial minutes can make all the difference, and that sense of responsibility fits right into how we think about care, safety, and teamwork. Lunch followed at the relaxed Passe Vite restaurant in Ostend — delicious and much needed after the CPR!

We then jumped straight into our next adventure: a speedboat trip with Captain Blue to the Thornton Bank and the offshore wind turbines. Wind, waves, and wow-moments guaranteed.
