Medical Service Desk Analyst (m/f/x)

We are actively looking for a Medical Service Desk Analyst (m/f/x) for our in-house projects and products portfolio in the healthcare domain.

It is an entry-level role that involves providing initial support including investigation and diagnosis of the issue, recording the incident, restoration of service if possible, and assignment of incidents to the DevOps team as required. Support provided for all applications is performed within negotiated service levels and to customers’ satisfaction.

The role also implies the participation to the projects and products evolution through quality insurance and testing of the performed changes.

A training on the supported products and organization will be provided in-house.

Accountabilities

  • Responding to contacts from Service Desk customers and DevOps team.
  • Performing classification, initial support, investigation, and diagnosis of incidents.
  • Resolving incidents or assign to appropriate DevOps member.
  • Contributing technical content and procedures to the Service Desk knowledge base.
  • Testing and validating solution conformity to business requirements.
  • Participating in process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintaining timely awareness of current initiatives, releases, and changes to the functional scope and technical environment.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate with medical staff for understanding the requirements that form the basis for analysis & design.
  • Ability to perform bottom-up research for diagnosticsand produce analysis and design artifacts that form the basis for implementation.
  • Ability to communicate with DevOps members to understand the technical constraints that must be respected.
  • Ability to communicate with the project management for the planning and people aspects.
  • Ability to communicate realistic predictions about the development workload.
  • Ability to learn a complex business model and process
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch (at least read & spoken), French (at least read & spoken) and English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge, certifications and/or experience of ITIL, SCRUM and the JIRA tool are a plus.
